Correspondence and other papers of Timms, 1939-1963, concerning his rental library business, publishing and literary trends, and Farrar & Rinehart, publishers; diary, 1930's, recording visit to his brother in Hudson, Michigan and reminiscences of his stay in hospital in 1964; also papers, 1919-1967, of his wife, Muriel Babcock Timms, graduate of Hillsdale College and University of Michigan, including letters, 1954, sent to Joseph Welch and Senator John McClellan congratulating them on their stand. Against Senator Joseph McCarthy, and letters, 1933, from the assistant cashier of the Hillsdale Savings Bank concerning governmental restrictions after the bank holiday.
